Founder & Designer, Studio Basi
Sabrina is driven by a deep reverence for architecture — the stories held within walls, the quiet strength of materials. Her design philosophy is rooted in layered restraint, creating spaces that unfold slowly, revealing nuance, texture, and intention at every turn.
Her journey into design began within the character-rich bones of her own historic homes — two 1910s properties she lovingly transformed. These hands-on restorations honed her eye for spatial flow, proportion, and the beauty that emerges when old and new are woven together with intention.
Sabrina studied at Parsons School of Design and holds the CFA designation — an unexpected pairing that mirrors her approach: creativity grounded in rigor, artistry guided by thoughtful process.
Today, as the founder of Studio Basi, she brings this duality to every project. Her work celebrates materiality in its most honest form — stone with soul, wood that shows its grain, metals that age with grace. Her aesthetic is informed by a lifetime of moments of beauty collected, studied, and distilled into spaces that feel both familiar and entirely new.
With a belief that design should feel effortless yet deeply felt, Sabrina creates spaces that are grounded in foundation and elevated in every detail.
